This concept boat business is located in the popular port of Marbella, on the Costa del Sol. There are only 5 of this type of boat in the world (Spain, Corfu, Florida, Bahamas and Southampton).
This craft is only 2 years old, with a 350 H.P. Catterpilla Engine 8 Litre Turbo and is 9.25 metre in length. It has only 155 hour use and can carry 10 passengers + 2 crew.
They operate out of the fashionable Marbella port and also have a beach concession in the upmarket resort of Puerto Banus which is located between Marbella and San Pedro on Spains renowned Costa del Sol. It was inaugurated in 1970 and is home to some of the most impressive yachts in the world. There is a wide array of expensive bars, restaurants and designer shops in Puerto Banus. It is also the perfect base to explore.
The present owners offer a various of rides, such as white knuckle ride and local sightseeing trips along the coast, generating business from the entrance to the port.
The licences required would be Skipper – Powerboat level 2 (Advanced) with commercial endorsement (Stamped) and the crew – First Aid Course. This can be done in Spain.
The mooring fee are approx €4,000 pa, the insurance costs a total of approx €1,500 pa and the maintenance of the craft approx €400 pa. To include all safety equipment, 2 Liferafts – 1 x 4 man & 1 x 8 man, hand held VHF Radio, First Aid Kit, 14 Life Vests and Flares. There is a new trailer also included. There is much scope to increase the turnover of this business.
