Bus Firm is Up For Sale

After four decades of serving town residents, Halesowen bus company Ludlows is up for sale on the internet with a price tag of £750,000.

It will be the end of an era for the company, which employs 25 drivers and three mechanics at its base in Coombs Rd.

The business, which turned over almost £2.5 million last year, operates ten routes ferrying passengers around Halesowen and further afield. The sale is being advertised on the www.BusinessesForSale.com website, due to the owner having ‘other business interests’.
